Pune born Zeenat met her biological mother after 22 years

Some stories are worth sharing and reading. Just today, I found this interesting piece of a report by NDTV and it reminded me of the Hollywood movie starring Nicole Kidman, Lion where an Indian born met his biological mother after some 20 years.

This happened too for a girl after she got adopted by a Spanish couple Antich Marti Raman, 56, and his wife, Garica Batacia Fores, 57. Broken into tears she confronted her biological mother after 22 years and apologised as she wasn’t able to take care of her. Zeenat alias Mireia was adopted by this Spanish couple when she just 14 months old from Shreevatsa, run by Society of Friends of the Sassoon Hospital (SOFOSH). Later, the same couple adopted a boy named Akash from the same institute.

Along with tears of joy, she bought some gifts and she too received a pair of earrings from her mother as seen in the picture. Few years back, when she was just 10, she visited India but having no clue about her biological family, she and her parents were unable to trace each other. She has completed her schooling and further, she wants to earn her degree in psychology. Not only this, she also worked in a restaurant to make her trip to India. Though she was born out of an abusive sexual relationship, it didn’t keep (indeed she was surprised) her far from her mother.

Whatever the odds are or seem to be, I believe that love finds its way back home and in this instance, it feels like a reel world experience (Indeed, the movie Lion was a true story and actual life events) has come to life.
